Post surgery prescriptions are decreased, but still room for improvement 

Common surgical procedures are often followed-up with opioid prescriptions for pain management. Prescribing habits for common orthopedic and non-orthopedic surgery have improved, but remain above recommended quantities for several procedures. Better alignment with recommendations for reducing post-surgical opioid prescriptions is still needed. Read On
